Tori Schumacher is the artist and maker behind Pearl Station Hat Co., based in Broomfield, Colorado. With a lifelong love of hats passed down from her mother, she followed that passion into formal training at Hat Masters School, where she refined her craft and fell deeply in love with the art of shaping by hand.

For Tori, hat making is more than a business- it’s grounding. It’s the space where life slows down. Amid the beautiful chaos of motherhood and the demands of everyday life, shaping and creating gives her peace. The studio is where emotion turns into form.

Each hat carries its own story. Some may share a similar silhouette or color palette, but no two are ever the same. Every piece is one of a kind shaped by the emotional path of that particular day. Joy, growth, struggle, music playing in the background, lessons learned… it all finds its way into the final creation.

Beyond hat making, Tori creates custom hat bands, hand-painted leathers, and works with a variety of textiles and materials to build depth and individuality into every design. She loves experimenting with texture and unexpected elements, blending western influence with modern artistic expression.

Travel fuels her inspiration. New places, people, and perspectives breathe life into her collections and keep her creativity evolving. She is committed to continuing her education in the craft, always refining techniques, attending more programs and expanding her artistic range.

Pearl Station Hat Co also brings the experience on the road. Tori hosts custom hat pop-ups at corporate events, weddings, private gatherings, and brand activations - creating interactive moments where guests design a piece that feels uniquely theirs.

At the heart of it all is intention. When someone wears a Pearl Station hat, they’re not just wearing an accessory, they’re wearing something shaped with care, emotion, and love. You can feel the energy of the maker in every curve of the brim.
